Meeting Agenda:

1:00-2:00 PM Optional Tours: two different, concurrent tours available for participants:
    1) Tour of the SDNHM Botany Department and SD Herbarium collection, led by Layla Aerne Hains, SD Herbarium Collections Manager.
    2) Tour of the native plant garden located outside and around the Museum, led by Jon Rebman, SD Herbarium Curator.
    Each tour will start at 1:00. We will all meet at the North Entrance Desk (just inside of the all glass entrance near the large Moreton Bay Fig tree) at 1:00 PM sharp and divide into the two groups there.

2:00-3:20 PM  Arrival & Mingling. Come to the North Entrance, where you will be be directed to the Nature Studio (Parker-French classrooms). There, we will have refreshments (& maybe Botany Bingo).

Note for speakers: All of the speakers will need to go into the theater at 2:30 PM for a quick sound check with our AV folks.

3:20 PM We will all be moving to the theater by this time prior to the presentations.

3:30-5:00 PM  Talks on San Diego botany (ca. 15 minutes each), each talk then followed by a few minutes of moderated questions:
