Characteristics:
Flowers bracteate
Corolla small, limb 0.5-1.5(2) mm wide
Calyx in fruit 5-6 mm long, hirsute below middle, lobes spreading at tip
Nutlets 4, homomorphic, rarely and slightly heteromorphic, 1.5-1.7 mm long, base truncate, margin angled, apex acute, surface tuberculate
Axial nutlet more firmly attached, =odd nutlet when heteromorphic
Style tip exceeding nutlet
