Characteristics:

Flowers bracteate

Corolla small, limb 0.5-1.5(2) mm wide

Calyx in fruit 3-4 mm long, hispid along midrib, lobes erect to slightly spreading at tip

Nutlets 4, homomorphic, rarely and slightly heteromorphic, 1.2-1.5 (1.8) mm long, base truncate, margin angled, apex acute, surface tuberculate

Axial nutlet more firmly attached, =odd nutlet when heteromorphic

Style tip exceeding nutlet
