Phylogenetic Relationships:

In all these results, Cryptantha clevelandii (var. clevelandii) is part of a well-supported clade with C. affinis, C. corollata, C. decipiens, and C. aff. wigginsii [=C. catalinensis],
these more distantly related and sister to C. microstachys.
